I have opted to not accept insurance because insurance plans often place limitations on treatment in order to save money for the company. In addition, in most cases I am required to submit a diagnosis and this means that in the future you may have to report a pre-existing condition, which may impact your future. Additionally, insurance companies are required to maintain their own records of your treatment in their database, which may limit your confidentiality. confidentiality.
However, if you choose to use your insurance coverage, I am happy to assist you in completing the necessary paperwork.
If you choose to utilize your insurance company you will need to determine what services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Since I do not accept insurance, I do offer reduced fee services which are available on a limited basis.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
