I will respond within 24 hours of having received your email in order to set up a phone or in-person complementary 15 minute consultation . During this initial consultation, I will ask you for a brief description of what your concerns or challenges are. From our conversation, you will get a better sense of who I am and I will get a sense of whether my services can be of benefit to you. We also will discuss the best way for us to work together to reach your therapy goals. Goodness of fit between the therapist and client is a priority to me.
If we decide to work together, we will schedule the initial session. This session will be for approximately 90 mnutes. We will take a thorough, careful, and detailed look at the areas of your life that are causing you concern and we will identify the outcomes you desire. During this first session, you will get a clear sense of how we can work together. Together we will decide a course of action to take in future sessions and we will schedule additional sessions at that time. Subsequent sessions will typically last 50-180 minutes per week, depending on what best fits your needs and goals, your budget and your schedule. You may schedule your appointments one at a time, or you can schedule several sessions at once to reserve a time that fits your schedule best and to make the commitment to staying the course and meeting your goals.
