As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor I am dedicated to providing educational, experiential, and supervisory training that is required for fulfilling the licensure requirements for trainees seeking licensure.
I have earned the AAMFT Supervisor designation and serve as a mentor to provide support, as well as, nurture the supervisees’ strengths and resources. I also provide a learning environment that ensures thorough marriage and family therapy (MFT) training and education. As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor I have a breadth and depth of MFT clinical and supervisory experience, and strive to stay involved in the professional MFT community. I am committed to refining my clinical and supervisory skills, and participate in ongoing professional development through my affiliation with the AAMFT.
As an Approved Supervisor, I work from a systemic orientation, using a variety of MFT theoretical approaches in my practice. My supervision is guided by the Responsibilities and Guidelines for AAMFT Approved Supervisors, set forth in the Approved Supervisor Handbook, January 2014 and the Code of Ethics .
